The golden marubhumi of Bikaner is known for its love of soil and hard work. True to the image, this college aims to facilitate it with top-notch of technical education. We hope to take this institution at the acme of technical education especially considering the new campus building that will further enhance the facilities for students. The institute is setup to promote higher learning and research in the field of engineering. The academy’s objective is to setup a nucleus campus that should promote quality education in various disciplines of engineering to meet the ever-increasing demands of new millennium. Its major thrust is on achieving technical excellence through intensive classroom teaching; technical visits, expert lectures from eminent guest faculty, databases, elocutions, seminars, work shops, symposia, etc. Our aim is to provide platform for intensive research in pursuit of excellence. We also aim at multi-dimensional development of students to make them competent on the highest scale.

This academy of technical education took its foundation stone on the auspicious day of 10th November 2000. Since then, it is stretching its excellence towards greater heights by each passing time capsule. As in the first session, there were two branches viz., CSE and ECE filling total 120 seats, with the solidity of roots, in the session 2002-2003, the college took its first extension, with introduction of four new branches and intake increasing to 390. At present the college provides PG courses degree in MBA & MCA along with BE degree in Six Branches - CSE, ECE, EE, IT, ME & EIC with the Total intake of 390 Students.

One of the prominent features of the College is the well-equipped library. More than 25609 books cater the requirements of students and faculty. There are books about projects, management studies, MCA and for general studies along with course oriented books. Many reputed journals & technical magazines are subscribed to satiate the intellectual hunger of students.

Liabrary also have a Digital Liabrary recorded lectures of Eminint Prof. of IIT's and also have more than 9134 books in Book Bank.

Well furnished reading room of library provides students with ample space to relish with newspapers, technical and other journals.

The college is proud of its computer labs unique in their own measures. There are more than 500 PCs, all with Pentium 4 processors. Internet access is available on all terminals through the leased line of 1 MBPS band rate from BSNL employing CISCO-2610 router, CISCO PIX515E Firewall, Cisco 3750 Switch with fast Ethernet LAN. The backbone of intranet is 1000 Mbps over CAT-6 cable. The intranet is managed by IBM X255 Xeon server with VPN network connecting all computers in college. Besides, the academic courses other courses like DOEACC ‘O’ level, Diploma in IT and Sales Tax are also organized for students. The 500 Computers are distributed in 16 Computer labs. The students are facilitated with Smart Boards, Network Printers (HP 9000DN (monochrome) and XEROX 2135(colored)) and LCD projectors as an extra feather in their artillery.
